We Have a Proud Tradition
AIM Inc., one of the nation's leading manufacturers of precision components and assemblies for military and commercial use, takes great pride in producing the Silver Seitz gun with uncompromising standards of quality. The History of Silver Seitz-100% American Made The Seitz Trap Gun was built by Tom Seitz, well known by all trap shooters. Tom, with his wife Sue, lived in Salem, Oregon, and manufactured Seitz trap guns. He had manufactured a total of 45 guns. Tom passed away in October, 1988.We (Bill Jacobsen and Jerry Phillips) had become good friends with Tom and Sue Seitz. Sometime after Tom's death, Bill and Jerry began talking about manufacturing a gun. During one of their discussions, they decided to call Sue Seitz to see if she would be willing for us to build and carry on the Seitz named trap gun. After meeting with Sue, she agreed ,as long as the gun was a top quality trap gun like Tom would have wanted. They decided to name the new gun the "Silver Seitz" - "Silver" for the Silver Dollar Trap Club, and of course "Seitz" to honor Tom Seitz. Jerry's company in Parkton, Maryland - AIM Inc.-is one of the nation's leading manufacturers of precision components and assemblies for military defense and commercial products. Jerry's knowledge in this field explains why we have one of the finest precision built trap guns in the world. . . . and so the Silver Seitz was born
